Check yourself or be checked. White allyship fatigue isn’t acceptable. The support people require goes beyond uplifting a voice but it is a start. Im reminded why I joined this community, I felt although the black trans experience wasn’t been represented and social issues were been spiritually bypassed, I was wrong!
The black plant community and true allies have been representing, the problem is the mainstream narrative only wants inclusivity when it’s beneficial. Black creativity needs to be celebrated, if it’s not self explanatory and highly visible that you stand against phobias and bigotry attitudes actively, I will continues to doubt your intentions and that’s all.
To those of you doing what you can, we appreciate you, now please amplify black creatives voices! 💚💚
