I just wanted to thank everybody sincerely for been welcoming and inclusive whilst championing for diversity within the black and brown communities, over the years living as a trans-person in society, in England has been extremely difficult people have high expectations of trans-individuals, we are often expected to be vocal leaders and advocates for others like ourselves, that’s because historically the society we live in has been exclusionary of trans people.
I’m not going to go on forever, I just wanted to say thank you, I’m processing some things and transitioning through the construct that is gender expectations, maybe I’ll talk about it at some point but right now I just felt obliged to share, ps trans femmes don’t owe you femininity.
